Robert E. Grady
Robert E. Grady has served as a member of the board since January, 2010. Mr. Grady is a Partner and Managing Director at Cheyenne Capital Fund, a private equity firm based in Colorado and Wyoming. Prior to joining Cheyenne Capital Fund, Mr. Grady served for nearly a decade as a Partner and Managing Director at The Carlyle Group, one of the world’s largest private equity firms. While at Carlyle, he served as a member of the firm’s Management Committee, as global head of the firm’s venture and growth capital practice, and as the Fund Head of Carlyle Venture Partners I, II, and III, Carlyle’s U.S. venture and growth capital funds. Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Grady was a Managing Director and member of the Management Committee at Robertson Stephens & Company, a leading emerging growth investment bank based in San Francisco. Previously, he served in the White House as Deputy Assistant to President George H.W. Bush and Executive Associate Director of the Office of Management and Budget, as Associate Director of OMB for Natural Resources and Science, as Director of Communications for New Jersey Governor Thomas H. Kean, and as Chief of Staff for U.S. Congresswoman Millicent Fenwick. Mr. Grady serves on the board of directors of Maxim Integrated Products, Inc. (Nasdaq: “MXIM), AuthenTec, Inc. (Nasdaq: “AUTH”), and Thomas Weisel Partners Group (Nasdaq: “TWPG”), and privately-held companies Viator, Inc., eScreen, Inc., and Symbio, LLC. Mr. Grady is a former Director and Chairman of the National Venture Capital Association (NVCA), and is a member of the National Commission on Energy Policy, the Advisory Council of the Royal Bank of Canada's Venture Capital Funds, and the International Advisory Board of the Harvard Center for Environmental Economics. He currently serves as the Chairman of the New Jersey Council of Economic Advisors, appointed by Governor Chris Christie.
Mr. Grady has extensive experience in education and education investing. He served for 10 years on the faculty of the Stanford Graduate School of Business as a Lecturer in Public Management, teaching courses on environmental and energy policy, regulation, and investments. He currently serves on the Board of Governors of the Pardee RAND Graduate School, which graduates more Public Policy Ph.D.s each year than any other institution in the world. At Carlyle, he served as a Director of education infrastructure software provider Blackboard (Nasdaq: “BBBB”) and of English-language training company Wall Street Institute, which sold its China business, which operated under the brand Wall Street English, to Pearson PLC in 2009.
Mr. Grady is an honors graduate of Harvard College and earned an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business. He is based in Jackson, Wyoming.
Mr. Holiday has over 20 years of executive financial and operating experience in the technology and telecommunications sectors. Most recently, he served as an Officer and Vice President of KT (formerly Korea Telecom). As KT’s first appointed foreign executive officer, Kent led their global strategy and strategic partnerships. As Senior Vice President of Ericsson, Kent was responsible for the company’s Data Backbone and Optical Division. He has held senior positions at Cisco Systems, Inc., 3Com Corporation and US Robotics. Kent spent over 10 years of his career living in Korea and speaks fluent Korean. He received a B.S. in Finance from Brigham Young University.
Mr. Kellogg is a Partner in the Denver-based law firm of Moye White LLP. He advises clients on corporate formation and governance, planning and documentation of corporate finance transactions, as well as development, structure, and due diligence involved with mergers and acquisitions. During his career, John has guided many clients from start-up through successful listing on both NASDAQ and NYSE. A former CPA, John earned his B.S. in Finance and Accounting from the University of Colorado and his J.D. from the University of Denver College of Law.
Mr. Knitt is a Managing Director of Seneca Equity Partners, LLC, the manager of Cheyenne Capital Fund, a private equity fund. Before joining Cheyenne Capital Fund, Mr. Knitt focused on telecommunications and information technology private equity investments at Meritage Private Equity Funds. Earlier in his career, Mr. Knitt was an Officer in the U.S. Air Force. There, he held various significant positions supporting the development and sustainment of the Air Force’s Global Positioning System. Mr. Knitt has a Bachelor of Science degree from Colorado State University, a Master of Science degree from the University of Southern California and a Master of Business Administration from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
Mr. Davidson is the General Manager of Tri County Telephone Association, Inc. He also serves as President of the organization’s affiliate companies including: TCT West, Inc., Tri Tel, Inc., and Yellowstone Cellular, all based in Basin, Wyoming. Davidson is the former Mayor of Burlington, Wyoming. He serves as a board member for Wyoming Business Council, Northwest College Foundation, and Bolt Data Systems. Davidson is also a Committee Member for the National Telecommunications Cooperative Association and President of Pinnacle Consulting, LLC. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Sciences Degree in Applied Management from Rocky Mountain College.
Over the past 21 years, Mr. Anderson has amassed a multi-million dollar syndicate of real estate and construction companies including: C. H. Anderson Construction, CHA Properties, CHA & Associates and Flintridge Landscape & Pool. His contributions to Eleutian's growth, in relation to the expansion of the company's facilities has been significant. Craig earned a Bachelor of Sciences Degree in Accounting from Brigham Young University.
Brian J. Holiday
Brian has served on the Board of Directors since the company's inception. He is well versed in corporate law, intellectual property rights, corporate transactions, and complex business litigation. He has served as internal corporate counsel, a board member, and corporate secretary in various multi-national organizations for over a decade. Brian is vigilant in the protection of corporate contractual and intellectual property rights, and has successfully litigated against many of the world's largest corporations and organizations in order to enforce those rights. In 2009, Mr. Holiday was selected by his peers as being in the top 2% of the practicing attorney's in the Mountain States, and was named a "Rising Star" in Super Lawyers Magazine. Brian has also been nominated by the Utah legal community as Utah's "Legal Elite" as published in Utah Business Magazine. He is a member of the Utah and United States Federal Bar Associations. Brian earned his Juris Doctorate degree from Brigham Young University's J. Reuben Clark Law School. He also holds a B.A. degree in German. Brian is fluent in the German language and has lived and worked in Germany and Switzerland.
