SpeakENG’s intelligent and adaptive Placement Test helps to take the guesswork out of identifying learners’ needs by quickly identifying learners’ proficiency in English and placing them within the SpeakENG curriculum. Each test is randomly generated from hundreds of questions. Depending on learners’ responses to each question, the SpeakENG computer-adaptive Placement Test adjusts the difficulty according to each learner’s abilities.
This automatic, adaptive method reduces the frustration students feel when tested outside their skill level, shortens the time needed for assessment, and yields more accurate and reliable results.
